Participant Application for the Global Inclusive Schools’ Forum
and 30th Anniversary of Salamanca Statement

Co-organised by UNESCO and IFIP

Criteria for successful applications:

1. Influential school leaders, teachers, trainers and experts who have a proven experience of promoting inclusion at the school, national or international levels

2. People who are members of a network that promote inclusion in education

3. People who are committed to taking the knowledge and connections gained from the Global Inclusive Schools’ Forum and using this to improve inclusion within their own setting

4. People who are aligned and support the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4) on Education of the United Nations Agenda 2030

5. The participants will benefit from sharing networks and influence, learning from each other’s approaches, working together and forging relationships that will significantly enhance their impact

In addition, please note that, to ensure a balance of opportunities, other criteria such as geographical/regional and gender characteristics will be taken into account.

* Participating in this event will allow you to become a Senior Fellow of the IFIP – this will allow you to use the Senior Fellow post-nominals after your name (SFIFIP). Senior Fellows play an active role in supporting SDG4 as well as the IFIP. Senior Fellows support and proactively contribute to the development of inclusive education across the world.
